The STORY

Our father had an orchard in Mangrove Mountain where he grew tomatoes and oranges.

My earliest memory is the bitter sting of the orange skin on my lips, and rubbing them with dirt to try to stop the burn, I think I was 4, and Ash was 2.

Our grandmother would wake us up every morning with a freshly squeezed orange juice.

Many days after school we would work in our parents restaurant.

When we finished school we went our separate ways, me into food service in Australia, Ash into banking in London.

We’ve fought some times, like brothers do, but we’ve always fought for each other.

The story is of two brothers. Their love of good food, growing up in a restaurant, travelling together, drinking together, laughing together, dreaming together. Stronger together than on our own.

When I wrote to Ash and asked him if he could help me with Jucci he said ‘I’ll see you in the orchard.’

We’ve combined our shared passions of a good laugh and a great drink in Jucci.
